Compatibility, construction, and installation
Third-party metal mounting set. Plate thickness, hole spacing, screws, and insulation arrangement for the held variant remain pending measurement and new photos.
The AM4 / AM5 variant mounts through the motherboard backplate and retains the original AXP90R / AXP90I AM4 orientation: fins run top-to-bottom, so airflow is more likely to be blocked by memory and the VRM heatsink, while the heatpipe ends are less likely to crowd the VRM area.
